Ed co-founded Iuvo Systems in 2009 and is focused on providing outstanding professional services and technology to project oriented businesses. Ed works hard to provide a highly skilled team and professional while lowering the overall cost for the Iuvo client. Prior to joining Iuvo, Ed worked at Deltek for almost twelve years as a Managing Director/shareholder, expert Costpoint application consultant and trainer working with over a 1,000 clients in various capacities. Ed began his career at Grant Thornton in their audit and IT consulting practice.
At Iuvo Systems, Ed is a proven technology and services professional who specializes in supporting federal government contractors, non-profits, research and development firms, professional service organizations and the Federal Government. Ed has worked with hundreds of small businesses (including 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, SDVO) as well as large organizations ATK, ITT, Verizon, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications, General Dynamics, AT&T, Serco and many other top 100 government contractors.
Ed earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Business from the University of Maryland at College Park and is also a graduate of Loyola Blakefield in Baltimore Maryland.
Ed is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Tess Gallup has over 30 years of experience in government contract accounting and compliance as CFO and Director of Finance & Contracts for Government contractors and commercial businesses. She brings in an entire cycle of accounting and cost controllership and project management experience, to include DCAA accounting systems approval processes, DCAA and other audits, cost collections and allocations, incurred cost submission and all financial reporting and creating policies and procedures for CMMI Level 2-4 certifications. She actively participated in preparation of various winning government proposals.
Tess earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from De LaSalle University. She resides in Orlando, Florida and travels as often as needed for clients and for pleasure.
Diane Dowling brings over 20 years of experience with Accounting in the AEC marketplace. Her experience includes managing the financial operations of a specialty design consulting firm with multiple U.S. locations and international subsidiary companies. She likes to roll up her sleeves and get busy and has handled AP, Billings, Cash Receipts, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliations, Timesheets, and Expense Reports.
Diane sees the big picture benefit of using technology to improve processes, having been in the C-suite as CEO and CFO. Finding ways to simplify activities and work smarter are priorities for her.
Diane has worked in Deltek Vision, Deltek Vantagepoint, QuickBooks Online, and Xero. She is quick to learn and adopts new technology readily.
Diane earned her Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and her M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Heather brings over 18 years progressive accounting and educational experience. Heather is knowledgeable in various levels of accounting, payroll, and business with the ability to communicate and work as a team to meet department and company goals. Heather leads projects, creates efficiency and increases productivity. Heather has worked with a range of organizations from $1MM - $1B sales performing Full Cycle Accounting tasks (bookkeeping to financial statement preparation).
Heather has extensive experience in the non-profit industry as a Finance Manager and has also been a Senior Accountant and Assistant Controller for Manufacturing and Wholesale organizations.
Heather earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s degree in Education.
Heine Rivera has more than 12 years of hands on experience in government contracting. He first started as an auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) where he learned the government’s and specifically the Department of Defense’s perspective on acquisition. He then became part of a Defense Contractor where he setup and ran all the accounting needs: Project Accounting, DCAA compliance, and many other acquisition related tasks. As the Comptroller he successfully supported ownership and higher management to becoming a $20 million dollar enterprise.
Heine studied Business at InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico and is an alumni of the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he graduated with his Masters in Engineering Management. Heine is also a Project Management Professional.
Michael is a Senior Deltek Administrator with both front and back end application experience. He has personally configured, implemented and administered Costpoint environments for companies of many different sizes and industries. He is also an expert Cognos Report Writer.
Michael is an expert in advanced data analytics using high level data manipulation and database creation tools in Excel (including: Lookups, Pivot Tables, Offsets, Macros, Regression Analysis, and Array Formulas).
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
Charlie brings over 7+ years of experience with Accounting in the Government Contracting industry. Charlie is a Costpoint Administrator with front end application experience who has personally configured and administered various Costpoint environment for small to medium size companies. His experience includes AP, Billings, Cash Receipts, Account Receivables, General Ledger, Timesheets, and Expense Reports.
Charlie is obsessed with being efficient and making everyone’s job easier. It brings him happiness and joy to help others in their work. He believes that every business can uncover potential organizational growth by working smarter and continuously improving business processes.
Charlie earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University and his MBA in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Crystal has been working on Costpoint for over 20 years and has worn many hats during her career. She began her Costpoint journey processing in-house payroll and then moved on to a Project Analyst position where she learned all the ins and outs of government regulations. She worked as a Controller and finally discovered that her true calling was systems implementation.
She loves being able to help other companies create the ideal environment for collecting costs and allowing them the ability to spend time analyzing data instead of entering it. Crystal has worked for large publicly owned corporations and small privately owned businesses and understands the challenges both face.
Crystal is a Deltek Certified Costpoint Master.
Karen has over 20 years of experience in data warehousing and BI Solutions. She is proficient with databases such as Oracle, Teradata and SQL Server, along with BI tools including Cognos and Tableau. She has worked with large and small organizations including the Department of Defense, Safelite Glass, Worthington Industries and the State of Ohio using Cognos 7, 8, 10 and 11. She has development experience in Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio and other Cognos tools, providing custom reports and dashboard presentations. Karen has implemented Cognos BI solutions in both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
Her development experience with Deltek’s Costpoint Cognos includes reporting in the areas of time sheets, payroll, projects and project status, manufacturing reporting, invoicing and budgets. In addition to BI development, Karen has also provided Cognos training in both group and one-on-one settings, enabling clients to create and maintain their own Cognos solutions.
Karen earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University, and her Master’s and Doctorate from Ohio State University.
Liz is a certified public accountant with over 25 years experience in all facets of financial accounting, auditing, taxation, reporting and internal controls. Liz provides outsourced accounting to government contractors, non-profits and commercial businesses. Liz also assists with compilations and reviews for small businesses including those firms who are within the SBA program.
Liz is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Crystal is a project management expert with 20+ years experience working at the intersection of software product development, marketing automation and project management to help a wide range of organizations grow and thrive.
Crystal’s experience includes the government sector; she worked with the State of California to develop an automated RFP process for First 5 San Bernardino. Crystal’s work led to a more efficient and effective way of processing RFPs, analyzing program outcomes, and measuring the impact on communities of 25 million in funds disbursed annually.
Crystal earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Information Management from California State University, San Bernardino.
Jack has over 35 years of experience in government contracting. A former DCAA auditor, Jack interacted with more than 100 different contractors to perform contract management and compliance. He has remained in this field as the director of compliance at several of the largest government contractors as an expert.
Warner brings 25 years of software and service sales as well as account management to project driven organizations including government contractors, non-profits and commercial based businesses. Warner previously worked at Deltek for 15 years as a sales consultant working with thousands of customers including almost every Deltek GCS Premier (System 1) and Costpoint client. Warner developed close personal relationships with clients over his many years becoming a trusted advisor for clients and Deltek employees.
Prior to Deltek, Warner worked with several software companies implementing enterprise solutions. These companies include PeopleSoft, Sage and JD Edwards as a functional consultant. Warner began his career in the US Army serving in the prestigious Army Honor Guard based in Arlington Virginia.
Warner has been married 30 years to his wonderful wife Maureen and has 4 loving children.
Dennis is a skilled accountant who has serves as a CFO & Controller in Iuvo’s Managed Services division. (for clients) In addition Dennis has implemented dozens of Costpoint solutions for government contractors and non-profits. Dennis held critically positions: Lead consultant, CFO, Controller, Director of Accounting and Director of Information Technologies. As Director of Accounting, Dennis improved performance of his unit significantly and retained qualified personnel while managing them to success. Dennis earned a solid reputation for learning everything “fast and deep” and being adaptable and flexible — a true insurgent of change. Skilled in strategic planning, day to day operations (in accounting and technology), state-of-the-art hardware and software, and in increasing productivity and reducing costs through implementing technology. Broad background and extensive experience leading a culturally diverse workforce. Excellent oral and written communications.
