About Dr. Nicole Evans Jones
Nicole Evans Jones, EdD, also known as “Dr. Nikki” is a 3rd generation native Atlantan, successful start-up business owner in Atlanta, and retired educator who dedicated 30 years for service to communities, families, and kids in Atlanta. With a passion for community service and strong commitment to making a positive impact in Atlanta, Dr. Nikki is running to make “Atlanta stronger!” for everyone.
Dr. Nikki’s extensive experience as an entrepreneur, executive, and educator has equipped her with the skills and vision to address key issues facing the city. Her innovative ideas and inclusive approach aim to create a more vibrant and equitable Atlanta for all residents.
With a proven track record of leadership and service, Dr. Nikki is dedicated to serving the community and advocating for positive change. As a candidate, Dr. Nikki is focused on promoting safety, community, and development. Her platform emphasizes the importance of collaboration, transparency, and accountability in local governance.
She is committed to working tirelessly to represent the interests and needs of ALL residents in Atlanta…to make Atlanta Stronger!
About Melody Vaughn
Meet Melody Vaughn, an accomplished interior designer with expertise spanning kitchens, bathrooms, renovations, art consultation, and writing. Melody’s journey commenced in 2003 when she transitioned from corporate America to join Home Depot as a certified kitchen and bath designer. Her stint at Home Depot laid the foundation for establishing “Harmonize Your Home,” a design firm specializing in kitchens and closet organization.
In her quest for broader horizons, Melody assumed a pivotal role at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams in New York. Rising through the ranks to become the Business Development Manager, she collaborated with esteemed clients such as Farrell Builders of the Hamptons, Tahl-Propp Equities, Brodsky Builders, Douglas Elliman, Keller Williams, and Corcoran Sunshine.
Melody’s deep-rooted passion for interior design, coupled with her sales and business development background, culminated in the creation of Melody Vaughn Interiors. Additionally, Melody Vaughn serves as a Senior Designer for Floor and Decor Design Studio. She also contributes her expertise to the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) by serving on its board.
