Leadership Expansion: Steve Lyons, CPA, Managing Director, Client Advisory Services

Iuvo Systems recently welcomed Steve Lyons, CPA, as Managing Director, Client Advisory Services, further strengthening the firm’s experience in governmental financial operations and fund accounting.

Steve brings more than 20 years of experience supporting organizations with complex financial operations, with a strong focus on financial reporting, financial statement preparation, compliance-driven close processes, and financial oversight. His background includes leading reporting cycles, reconciliations, aligning internal controls, and communicating financial results to executive leadership and governing bodies.

Steve has extensive experience supporting both government (contractors) and nonprofit organizations, including environments with multiple funding sources, grant and donor restrictions, contract structures, and layered compliance requirements. His work emphasizes consistency, accuracy, and disciplined reporting aligned with applicable standards and oversight expectations.

In his role as Managing Director, Steve works closely with CAS leadership and delivery teams to maintain strong reporting discipline, strengthen scalable processes, and provide structured oversight as clients grow, add programs or contracts, or take on increased reporting requirements.

Under her leadership, the CAS Practice operates with defined governance, clear methodologies, and quality controls designed to support continuity, accountability, and long‑term client success.
